<div class='textboxV3' id='pgTextboxV3_1'> Unfortunately and totally unexpectedly, just before the party, and AFTER party plans were finalised, I was <br /> forced into a very difficult situation by Jimmy Jemain and his 'office', at that late stage. Through absolutely no fault of my own, he decided not to attend the fan club party on 22 September 2006 after he planned and arranged to be there and had confirmed himself that Tony would be his sound engineer for the evening as he was last year. He let all his fans down, who had supported him for 3 years, some who had even travelled from abroad especially for him. All fan club members were invited to this party, although not all were present. <br /> However, unknown to myself at that time, but since confirmed by another source, plans were already very firmly in place to terminate my running of his fan club and this site (which I have always done totally voluntarily) some time before the party. Initially I was asked for members details in August, prior to the party - this was some time before Jimmy confirmed he was not going to be there. The reason I was given for this request was that he wanted to do 'something special' this year for his fans. Before doing so, I was advised to take advice on this (re Data Protection Act) which I did, and was therefore unable to provide these. It now appears they were required in order that he could contact everyone by letter about his non appearance and also that my services were no longer required. I knew nothing on the party night of any letters whatsoever, apparantly sent by Jimmy to the hotel.<br /> I can confirm none were passed to me.<br /> As Jimmy was not at the party, apart from a super disco, we were suddenly left without entertainment at the last minute. In order not to disappoint those and let them down further, I had to urgently find another act and was very fortunate to be able to welcome a super Cliff Tribute - Webb, to entertain us instead at very short notice. We all had a great night with Pete and Mandy (Webb). <br /><br /> You will see that we have some exciting news about a brand NEW Tributes Club.
